Online Class – Vinegars: Sweet Secret of Plating June 27th 10:30-11:30am
There is a lot of buzz these days about stocking your pantry as we cook from home more and more. While staples such as rice, grains and flour are a must for any pantry, the MVP’s of my pantry are flavor bombs such as an array of high quality oils, vinegars and salts.
Chef Rachelle and Olive This Olive That have partnered for an online tasting and making class series, Power of the Pantry!
The second in our series is the about BALSAMIC VINEGAR. What is balsamic vinegar? Why are some runny and some thick? How do I choose the right vinegar for my dish?
We’ll answer those questions and others you may have, plus a demo on how to use vinegar for gorgeous plating. Then we’ll make two delicious dishes using farm fresh tomatoes.
Chef Rachelle with walk us through making an heirloom tomato salad using sharing some plating techniques and a panzanella salad.
This is an online zoom class. We’ll send the link once you’ve signed up along with a prep and ingredient list. It’s not necessary to have the exact vinegars we’ll be introducing but it’ll enhance the tasting experience.
Sign up for both classes, save $5 which will be donated to Wise Health SF, a non-profit that helps feed seniors in the Bayview neighborhood of SF during shelter in place.
